Pete first came to New York 18 years go to serve in the military at Fort Drum. Before that,, Pete went to public school (K-12) in rural Pennsylvania where he learned the promise of America - that steadfast goals and a good work ethic can make one's dreams come true. The G.I. Bill allowed Pete to get a degree at Clarkson University and attain a job locally at IBM. You know him locally as your neighbor here in Dover Plains, along with his wife Gloria.

Pete is proud to come from a working class family. He is the son of a factory worker and union leader who understands the hardships and struggles of everyday life. Early on, Pete was instilled with a strong sense of patriotism and public service. As a teenager he volunteered summers at a disability rehabilitation hospital where he helped people get their lives back. It is Pete's desire to be your public servant, your advocate and to represent you in the Dutchess County Legislature.

Pete believes that we need innovative thinking and a fresh perspective to improve Dutchess County.

Here are the top 5 issues that he is passionate about solving:

"I believe we should set aside partisan politics and unite to solve the common issues that we all face. Upon my successful election into office, the public has my commitment to be non-partisan, fully devoted and action driven to steer us back in the right direction. In a country like ours, everyone deserves to be heard. Let's get back to a government of the people, by the people and for the people".
